Summer is a magical time of year. What other season carries the ability for us to wave our magic wands and block out our work-a-day lives while we dream of vacations, long weekend getaways or daytrips to all kinds of fun spots? The one thing we do not want is to be along the side of the road changing a tire, or worse, waiting for a tow truck.
Your car has been busy taking you to work, driving the kids to school, running to the grocery store, and every other place you need to go. Your vehicle does not get a vacation, but it still needs maintenance. Is there a more boring, non-magical word in the English language than, maintenance? Let’s go with TLC instead because that’s what maintenance is as far as your car is concerned.
Well, this begs the question, “What does TLC mean in the parlance of modern-day vehicles?” Oddly enough, TLC means exactly what it meant for Granddad’s 56’ Roadmaster, or your mom’s Buick Rendezvous or that snazzy Yukon Denali in your driveway.
Before you head out on the road, head into our Service Department, where we’ll check for potential vacation spoilers before they get a chance to create all the wrong kind of family memories. Even new vehicles benefit from knowledgeable inspection. It’s very similar to the pre-flight check lists pilots go through before takeoff.
The best way to show your car some TLC is with an oil change where TLC translates into Tires, Lights and Coolant, but that’s just the beginning. There’s Air Conditioning, Battery, Brakes, Washers and Wipers, Air filters, and all sorts of good stuff that get checked and scrutinized. When something is needed only genuine GM parts will do and that is all part of showing your vehicle some TLC.
Whether you and your family are looking for warm ocean breezes or cool mountain air, you can get there with peace of mind and safety. It all starts with a dream in your heart and appointment with the magicians in our Service Department.
